What happens after download

Retention should match the Evidence Processing flow: messy evidence is processed into a clean download pack, then detailed contents are removed. What remains depends on the customer route.
Record retained
A ROPA-linked record remains for accountability after download. Detailed evidence contents are deleted.
Pack deleted
Where the capability is used separately through TruCredits, the secure download pack is deleted once downloaded.
Deleted after download
The underlying evidence contents are not retained after the download step unless a separate lawful retention route has been agreed.
